#Ahmedabad chapter has scheduled Movie screening of Martyrs of Marriage on 26th February, 2017.

The movie is all about, how Indian Penal Code 498A is being misused by #woman to harass innocent husband and his family for money or mend him to workout her demands.

IPC 498A is non-bailable and cognizable offense section but it is being used in matrimonial disputes between Husband and Wife.

498A has become toothless sections which just used for extortion and harassment.

India already have #Dowry #Prohibition #Act which deals cases related to #Dowry #Demand

Still IPC 498A is enacted to safeguard same rights which are their in DP Act.

Also woman can accuse end number of family member's name and relatives in her complaint.

You call mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, uncle, small kids and husband...all will go behind bars once woman lodges complaint of #Dowry Harassment.

Bangladesh moving for new #Dowry #Law 2017

As per Cabinet Secretary Mr. Alam,  There is no data of facts that Bride's family will demand dowry.

The 1980 law of Dorwy Prohibition is going to change in 2017 and will put all the prospective groom for extortion by system and #Police.

 We urge Bangladesh government to go through India's law and see how this laws are being misused to extort money from groom and his family.

Pradeep from Hyderabad arrested on Dowry Charges

Hyederabad Police on Monday arrested Fitness trainer Pradeep in city on charges of Dowry filed by his wedded wife.

There was small fight between couples and vogue allegation by wife has landed Pradeep in JC (Judicial Custody)

Dinesh from Jodhpur Commits #Suicide after his wife blackmailed him of #fakecases

Jodhpur:

Dinesh was well behaved man from Jodhpur, who saw a marriage as life long commitment and wanted to live happily ever after marriage with his newly wed wife.

Little did he knew that he will face serious problem in marital life and that will lead to take his own life.

As per Dinesh's family, his wife was free thinking woman and empowerment was high. Dinesh was always respectful and trustworthy to his wife. Infact, he was loyal to her. His wife will always fight with family and him.

As usual like happening in India, his wife also intimated him of #fakecases of #dowry and implication in #criminal cases which is rampant. Misuse of Law is increasing day by day.

In return of not filing false cases of Dowry, his wife and family demanded INR 15 Millions for settlement.

He left suicide not behind him.

Marriage has become crime in India_Man's sister arrested in_Dowry_Case

Alwar:

Innocent men and family members of husband are being trapped in #fakecases of #Dowry and #DomesticViolence in India. There is no mechanism to stop the menace.

In this video, a girl was tied to rope and taken to Jharkhan from Alwar district of Rajasthan. Her only guilt is that she is a sister of man who is married.

Due to social structure of India, We all live in harmony but the laws are made in such a way that family ties are breaking.

Man are harassed everyday be it fakecases of Dowry, Rape, Molestation, Workplace Harassment, Eve-Teasing.

There is no Men's Rights in India. No Law for Men. No human rights for Men.

In India, we have ministry for everything but not for men.

Men arrested from Mumbai_Bhavesh

In above case, husband is arrested from Mumbai since LOC was open which was result of wife's complaint against husband and his family. Police has registered FIR and LOC was issued.

In India, marriage has become a legal terror for #husband and his family. A small dispute between husband and wife leads the husband and his family to Police Station and Justice System.

1. Indian Penal Code - 498A (India's Apex court has termed this section as Legal Terrorism)
2. Domestic Violence Act 2005 - (Poorly drafter law favoring only women) What about men who are victim of domestic violence ?
3. CRPC 125 which only considers Wife has abla and husbands as a giver.

Plenty of laws for #women in #India but none for a man.
